When The Enemy Wears Blue.
When The Enemy Wears Blue.
On a mid-summer day in 2008, the local police served a civil warrant on a divorced father of two, only one is a minor. With the current economic status, especially today's job market, a person falling behind in child support payments is not that far beyond the realm of possibilities.
In other words if educated individuals are loosing there homes to foreclosure, what makes anyone think that an adult minority, living in the south, with no high school diploma is going to fare any better meeting his or her financial obligations?
Yes, falling behind and/or not paying child support is clearly evil. Nevertheless, is being $1,000 behind evil enough to beat someone repeatedly after that person is handcuffed and on the ground in the ‘felony' position? Is it okay to call someone a scumbag and the "N" word in the name of failure to pay child support? Should a relative of the complainant in this case serve the warrant? Should the police not identify themselves and repeatedly pound on the side of the house while in plainclothes, run around the common areas with weapons drawn, and continue to yell out that they are going to shoot, terrorizing all other occupants of the home and the neighborhood? Above all, is it evil enough that the police involved in this fiasco fabricate the events of this arrest in the police report? Or does fabricating the police report in itself prove that the actions mentioned may not be viewed by the administration as ethical? On a civil warrant, is it okay to tell the individual in custody that you are a "U.S. Marshall" when you clearly are not, and that the individual is a "fugitive from justice" when he clearly is not and that they can "break the door down whenever they want to" if they know that you are in the house? Or are these intimidation tactics, and 'blue fibs' to cover up gross misconduct and a personally motivated shakedown on their part?
I do not know about you, but to me it is a terrifying thought that any officer of the law would participate in such dirty pool, especially in broad daylight and in front of several witnesses, thumbing their nose at the code of conduct they swore to uphold. This story is so unbelievable and offensive it has to be true. There are just some things a person cannot make up. However, if I had not seen it or heard it with my own two ears and eyes, I simply would not believe it. It is hard to grasp the idea that an officer would jeopardize his or her career in this manner and intimidate otherwise law-abiding citizens by publicly using such poor judgment to settle a personal score through the power invested in him or her through the authority of the public office he or she serves.
Additionally, the fact that a resisting charge was brought against this individual to cover up the bruises inflicted by these two representatives of local law enforcement is disgusting. Apparently, they did not think that a resisting charge would be another element that would affect this individual's ability to obtain employment, hence making it harder for him to meet his already looming financial obligations. If these two do not possess the ability to reason out actions before they execute them it is a frightening thought that they are out in the street to protect and serve in situations that demand split second decisions. They have tainted the name of the many law-abiding officers that are out in the street every day.

Myspace.com And Murder?

Myspace.com And Murder?
In the last eighteen months, this relatively minute urban sprawl has experienced three murder cases involving Myspace.com users. Five were victims and an unknown number were assailants.
continued. Myspace.com and Murder?
Two men, two murders.
Two men, two murders.
In four weeks, two local men have been brutally shot to death within two miles of each other.
A twenty-one year old heroin dealer, and a well-known, well-liked businessman, both known to carry large amounts of cash.
In broad daylight at 3 PM on a Saturday afternoon in a busy neighborhood, victim number one was tied up with duct tape in a home under construction. When he managed to get away and fled, his assailants shot him to death in the back. The shooters fled on foot through the woods behind the house, or so witnesses have said.
On a weeknight, at about 9 or 10 PM, at least four people wearing masks confronted victim number two as he exited his vehicle in front of his home. Neighbors heard the shots but no one called police. A family member found the man dead in the front yard when he arrived home the next morning.
Both of these men were on different sides of the legal fence. Can you tell which one died in what way? Does it really matter?

Hello, Yes. A real tragedy especially since in one of these killings a family member and several people known to the victim were involved.

Coincidence?

Coincidence?
On a Friday evening in January 2007, one man drove up a residential street he turned into a driveway, exited his vehicle walked up the driveway and shot a man at point blank range killing him. This man got back into his vehicle drove a little farther down the street, pulled up in a different driveway, exited his vehicle, and shot another man also killing him. Upon returning to his vehicle, the perpetrator sped off toward the highway, according to witnesses.
At the same time these two homicides took place, calls were made to police reporting bogus crimes, forcing them to leave one crime scene for another.
The following Friday evening in January 2007, one man drove down a residential street, less than one mile from the first shooting, pulled up in a driveway, exited his vehicle and shot four men as they played cards on their front porch. Two out of the four men died from their injuries. This man also sped off in the direction of the highway. No calls were made to police during this incident.
No suspects have been arrested in either incident.
Was it coincidence or a well-planned execution?
